Bahaa !~

I'm here to help you improve *^* !~
I'll Give a proper CNC ( Well try at least .)

So lets start with Style !~
Your style is different and cute but it needs something to help transform into its full form. Now this progress is hard because making your own style takes work . I will not lie it does but use tutorials and other styles to inspire you to add or take from your style.
Coloring !~
Your coloring still needs a lot of work but I'm sure you'll be good at coloring . Go to livestreams and use tutorials to help your improve your coloring because you can't improve on your own .
Anatomy
I can tell you haven't been drawing for long because I teach my friend how to draw anime the right way .^^ Your remind me of her . Your anatomy is still not as good as it can and could be . Use tutorials and practice a lot . Anatomy will take a long time to improve and master. I'm still learning about anatomy and its been two years since I been studying it.
Design of Character
Its very cute character but show a personality in her face and what she wears.
Like if she was tomboy she would wear a sporty , boyish ,and yet cute outfit because that's who she is .

This is my first time sending a critique about a drawing but I hope it helps you a little! First off, you should know, you are going the right way in drawing, if you keep practicing enough, before you know it, you'll be a fabulous artist! That and I can really see what you were trying to go for with this image. Okay critique time!

Firstly, your lines could use a bit of work. I don't know if you have a tablet, track pad or mouse, but I've worked with all 3 so I'll give you some hints with how to use them! If you use PhotoShop with the mouse or track pad, there's this really nice tool called the pen tool, you can imitate pressure sensitivity using it, and it gives clean lines, but if you'd rather be able to control your own "sensitivity", you can erase the ends of lines to almost give it that look. Same goes with if you're using SAI, you can use the curve tool there! Now if you're using a tablet, my friend has the "shaky hand" problem too, where your lines come out shaky. Just don't press down super hard on your tablet, pretend you're drawing on paper and make fast motions, your lines will hopefully come off a lot cleaner.

Second, coloring! I personally struggle most with coloring, but good thing for you is you've got base coloring down, yay! Shading though, does need work. I personally haven't colored like an anime artist since I grew into semi-digital painting, but I think I know the basics. Like in realism, your hair is going to have multiple shades of the base color and multiple values, and where the hair is furthest from the main hair highlights, it'll be darker. The hair shine should also carry out throughout the section of the hair horizontally and is not pure white. A good little thing to think about is someone with black hair, and then try imagining them with these huge white shines across their hair, but that doesn't look normal right? But if you lower the opacity on it/make it lighter, BAM, it looks pretty nice! Also with the coloring, tight cloths do not wrinkle unless in an area of movement, stretching or bunching. Meaning where her knees are, there would be a few wrinkles, maybe between her breasts, and above or on her hip area. Another thing that could use help in your coloring is the blush on the breasts and her face. Blush on a naturally pale person is usually a light-salmon pink but can vary from person to person and in anime only has TINY shines, though in real life, they don't shine which is a sad fact haha. But breasts and shoulders, sadly breasts and shoulders don't blush, so you might want to stop doing that. So basically, in coloring, play with values and don't be afraid to experiment with the opacity! You can also draw yourself an arrow to remember where your light source is, and remember EVERYTHING has some sort of shadowing. Even white paper under the sun does.

Finally, the hardest part to get down in drawing, anatomy. Your hands, are actually going the right way, I'll tell you that. Just reference from your own hand when drawing them though! Thumbs are usually the thickest finger, middle finger longest and the ring and index fingers are about the same height, the pink is naturally the shortest finger on the hand. Fingers are never always the same length. Secondly in anatomy, it's...."the intimate zone" in other terms, her crotch. It's a bit...wide and flat. Women's crotch areas are usually move curved and about 6 cm wide with their legs being shoulder width apart, in the position she is standing in, it might be around 3 cm (ugh I know it's an awkward topic haha). As for her legs and arms, arms and legs are NOT the same length all the way through. Arms slim down at the wrist and elbow areas, legs at the knee and ankle area. As for her neck, necks are elongated, don't be afraid to make longer necks at all! It actually lets you have more fun drawing cute things like collars, ribbons, necklaces, etc around their neck because there's more space present to draw! The face, sadly faces aren't ovals, if they were I'd enjoy that because I hate my chin. Try to define her chin from the rest of her face a little more, but don't make it as sharp as a knife! Also, though she has a bottom lip, she lacks an upper lips. Upper lips are always present on people with bottom lips, even when very thin. As for the eyes, eyelashes don't grow over hair, and she might need eye lids to blink. Unless she doesn't blink then that's cool haha. A hint for drawing faces (which helps a lot for me) is to either draw the head first then draw within that, or draw the eyes and face first then draw the head around it. (also, belly buttons do not show over cloth, unless that's her skin then I'm sorry OTL)

Hope that helped! Also more helpful hints! Do more than one sketch, I do up to 10 sketches for my serious pieces, but you could do a gesture drawing, figure drawing, and sketch. Also don't start with drawing the head! Start with the line of action! (google will help tell you what that is). Finally, it's a not so secret thing I do, but I draw people on the bus or on the train or even the airplane. Yeah it'll creep the hell out of them, but just give them the drawing when you're done! It benefits both of you, you learn more different faces, face structure and anatomy, they get a free drawing of themselves. It helps you a lot to be able to vary as an artist in the future!

I hope that helped you! Good luck drawing in the future and best of wishes!
